About Cheapside Village Hall

Our village hall history and the committee that runs it


The village hall was built after the Second World War by the villagers who managed to raise the required funds even in such a difficult period.

 

Through much hard work and sacrifice by the whole community the hall was eventually opened and has been a great asset to the village ever since. 

 

The village hall is run by an enthusiastic committee who are dedicated to ensuring that the hall continues to be a central part of village life.

 

Cheapside Village Hall committee consists of the following members:

Village Halls are required to have a Safeguarding Policy in place to protect all vulnerable persons regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality, religion or faith who are on site. It is incumbent on hirers to let management know in advance of any change in circumstances which may directly or indirectly impact on this matter.
